The City of Burbank is developing a Specific Plan for the Golden State District,
supported by grants from the California High Speed Rail Authority and LA
Metro. The District includes the area east of the Hollywood Burbank Airport,
west of Buena Vista St., south of Cohasset St., and north of Pacific Ave. The
Specific Plan is intended to create a new vision for the district, encourage the responsible development of new housing near the Metrolink stations and the proposed high-speed rail station, support high-quality employment, and improve active transportation.
The City is hosting a public Open House for the Golden State Specific Plan
Project on June 21. Drop by any time between 6:00 and 8:00 pm. A short
presentation on the project will take place at 6:15 pm. Learn about project
updates and share your thoughts and ideas!
