On April 25, 2023 City staff provided the City Council a report on the project. As part of the report City staff provided the City Council an update on work to date and next steps. Additionally, the City Council provided policy direction and input on (1) the forecasted development potential for the Specific Plan Area; and (2) whether staff should return to Council with further research on costs & timeline for preparation of a Golden State Specific Plan Neighborhood Protection Plan.
